About this item
Where Kerala handloom tradition meets the timeless beauty of the peacock. β¨
Introducing an exquisite Pure Handloom Tissue Set Saree featuring an intricately woven Mayil (Peacock) Butta design — a celebration of prosperity, grace and exceptional artisan craftsmanship.
β¨ Statement Pallu
The pallu is the highlight of the design, featuring approximately 5.2-inch main Gold Kasavu with temple-line detailing and a beautifully arranged approximately 2.5-inch peacock-butta section.
The saree combines a luminous tissue body with fine Gold Kasavu stripes, delicate approximately 1-inch peacock buttas, and a magnificent pallu where the Mayil motif takes centre stage.
This is not simply a traditional saree. It is a showcase of the artisan's weaving artistry.
π¦ THE MAYIL STORY
In Indian artistic traditions, the peacock (Mayil) is associated with beauty, grace, prosperity and auspiciousness.
Here, the Mayil is translated into an elegant woven motif, giving the saree a distinctive character while keeping its overall appearance rooted in Kerala's traditional handloom aesthetic.
The beauty becomes especially striking when the small peacock buttas appear across the body against the delicate Gold Kasavu stripes.
Tradition in every thread.
Prosperity in every Mayil.
Craftsmanship in every detail.
β¨ WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
This saree is designed for someone who wants traditional Kerala elegance with a more artistic and distinctive expression.
β¨ Pure Handloom Tissue
The tissue base gives the saree a refined, luminous appearance while retaining the character of handwoven fabric.
β¨ Gold Kasavu Stripes Across the Body
The body is enriched with fine Gold Kasavu stripes, creating a beautiful rhythm across the tissue ground.
π¦ Signature Mayil Buttas
Small approximately 1-inch peacock buttas are woven across the body, adding a delicate yet unmistakable identity to the saree.
β¨ Statement Pallu
The pallu is the highlight of the design, featuring approximately 5.2-inch main Gold Kasavu with temple-line detailing and a beautifully arranged approximately 2.5-inch peacock-butta section.
πΏ Light Kasavu Border
A graceful approximately 4-inch Light Kasavu Border completes the saree without taking away from the intricate body and pallu work.
π Matching Blouse Included
The accompanying blouse piece features Gold Kasavu stripes, allowing you to create a beautifully coordinated traditional look.

These variations are part of the individuality of handloom textiles and reflect the human craftsmanship involved in creating each piece.
The Gold Kasavu and tissue sheen may appear slightly different under different lighting conditions and viewing angles.
The Mayil motifs and woven details may also exhibit very minor variations due to the handloom process.
These characteristics are inherent to handwoven textiles and should not automatically be considered defects.
Product measurements mentioned are approximate and may vary slightly due to the nature of handloom weaving.
