Heritage Handloom from Balaramapuram, Kerala
Celebrate the timeless elegance of Kerala’s weaving heritage with this Pure Balaramapuram Handloom Kasavu Set Mundu, meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans from the historic weaving village of Balaramapuram, Kerala. Revered for its authenticity, purity, and exceptional craftsmanship, every Set Mundu reflects generations of Kerala’s rich textile tradition, preserved through the centuries-old Kuzhithari (Pit Loom) weaving technique.
This authentic Set Mundu is woven in our own weaving unit in Balaramapuram, where experienced artisans continue to uphold the legacy of Kerala handloom with unwavering dedication, precision, and uncompromising quality.
Featuring a striking traditional maroon, black, and gold border, this Set Mundu beautifully blends Kerala’s classic aesthetics with refined contemporary elegance. Rich maroon stripes are gracefully accentuated by bold black detailing and luminous gold zari lines, creating a sophisticated contrast against the pristine off-white handloom cotton. The balanced composition of colours adds depth, character, and timeless charm, making this an exceptional choice for those who appreciate authentic Kerala craftsmanship.
